"Drvenjača" d.d. Fužine:
- In 1975 - founded under the name OOUR Šumsko gospodarstvo Delnice
- In 1985 – registered as the Work Organization for Pulp Manufacture
- In 1993 – registered as the joint stock company focused on manufacture, trade and services, "Drvenjača" d.d. Fužine
- In 1993 – acquired a share in the companies Mrkopalj d.d. and Vrata d.d.
- In 2001 – acquired full ownership of Mrkopalj d.d. and Vrata d.d and registered the companies under the name Mrkopalj d.o.o. and Vrata d.o.o.
- In 2004 – the companies Mrkopalj d.o.o. and Vrata d.o.o. merged into Drvenjača d.d. , making its constitute part

Mission
The mission of the company Drvenjača is useful use of pulp wood from the coniferous forests, and manufacture of the Refined Mechanical Pulp ( drvenjača), used in production of the multilayer cardboard. According to the data obtained from «Hrvatske šume», the company for forest management, total annual harvest in the Republic of Croatia covers 125.000 m3 of pulp wood, which is sufficient for manufacture of 50.000 tons of the RMP. Also, Drvenjača d.d. produces, in its profit units, the saw-mills Mrkopalj and Vrata, fir and beech sawn timber and transport pallets. After foundation of the new wood pellets plant, wood chips (fines and sawdust), which today have very low use and market value, have been processed into high quality ecologically sustainable final product.
